Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

You need a passport OR your original birth certificate + ID. **A certified copy of birth certificate with the raised stamp will do. A standard copy will NOT suffice. For children 15 and under, they do not need to show an ID.

Question

Is there a formal night on the cruise?

Answer

There are 4 themed nights for this sailing. There is not one particular formal night, but people do tend to dress up for dinner. Cutoffs, ripped clothing, tank tops/bathing suits are not allowed in the main dining room. Each night the cruise director hosts a party (singing/dancing/entertainment) with the following themes: Glow Party- neon colors, glow sticks Tropical Night- Hawaiian shirts, leis, beach vibes White Party- wear white! Sunshine (70s and 80s)- disco night! The music is great! 70s/80s flower power clothing *suggested attire is listed above if you are inclined to participate. Completely optional but fun to do!

Question

Are there beach towels on the ship for me to bring on excursions?

Answer

Yes, in your cabin, you will be provided with one large beach towel per person that you are allowed to take off the ship to bring with you on the island. Make sure to leave it in your cabin on the last day so you don’t get charged for taking a towel… There are also separate bath towels in the bathroom. No need to bring your own beach towels!

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Beach wedding attire. Examples may include: sun dresses, jumpsuits, Hawaiian shirts, button downs, linen, polos. Sandals are encouraged, ladies I would avoid heels! Warm weather ahead!

Question

Do I need to fill anything out ahead of time if I have special needs? Ex. Cpap, wheelchair, etc…

Answer

Yes, it is recommended that you fill out a special needs form and email it to: specialneeds@msccruisesusa.com Link to special needs form: https://www.msccruisesusa.com/-/media/global-contents/pdf-documents/16026_15_msc_special_needs_form_eng.pdf Link to FAQs on Special Needs: https://www.msccruisesusa.com/manage-booking/special-needs#:~:text=Informing%20us%20on%20any%20mobility,to%20specialneeds%40msccruisesusa.com.

Question

How do I know what restaurant to go to for dinner and what time?

Answer

Upon checking in, each person will get their own cruise card. This is also your room key. This card will have the name of the restaurant and dining time on it. It will also have your muster station on it. (muster station for emergency drill on the first evening of the cruise before dinner). Since we are a wedding group, everyone will have the same assigned dining time and restaurant along with assigned table numbers.

Question

How do I tip staff onboard?

Answer

MSC Cruises will automatically add a daily Hotel Service Charge (tips to staff) to your shipboard account. Adults: $16 per night Children 2-12 years: $8 per night Children under 2 years: $0 If you wish to provide tips to individual cabin stewards/wait staff/ bartenders, you can do so. Typically we will tip our cabin steward and the wait staff on the last night of the cruise but that is optional.

For all the days along the way
