Question

Note on Elevation

Answer

Estes Park sits at about 7,500–8,000 feet above sea level, which is much higher than most places people are traveling from. Because of this, some guests may experience mild altitude sickness as their bodies adjust to the thinner air. Common symptoms can feel a bit like a hangover and may include headaches, dizziness, fatigue, shortness of breath, nausea, or trouble sleeping—especially within the first day or two after arriving. The good news: it’s usually mild and temporary! To help prevent or minimize symptoms: - Drink lots of water (hydration is key!) - Take it easy your first day—rest and avoid overexertion - Eat regularly and get plenty of sleep - Supplemental oxygen can help—oxygen canisters can be purchased at most convenience stores and hotels Most people feel better within a day or two as they adjust. If you start to feel unwell, listen to your body and take it slow—we want everyone feeling their best to celebrate with us!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is formal — we’d love to see our guests dressed to impress! For women: Floor-length or elegant midi dresses, or formal jumpsuits are perfect. Heels, dressy boots to complete the look. For men: Suit or blazer with dress pants, a collared shirt, a tie, and dress shoes. Tuxedos are not expected. That said, we’re adding a little personal flair to the evening — Western-inspired touches like bolo ties, boots, or hats are more than welcome at the reception. Feel free to bring your own sense of style within the formal guidelines!

Question

Should I dress in a certain color scheme?

Answer

We’re not asking guests to follow a specific color scheme for the wedding. Our colors are inspired by earthy tones—olive, sage, browns, tans, gold, and similar shades. The bridesmaids will be wearing olive green dresses. Guests are welcome to wear whatever makes them feel comfortable and celebratory within the formal guidelines.

Question

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you the opportunity to relax and enjoy the evening with us! Thank you for understanding and making arrangements in advance — it means the world to us.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Where is the ceremony happening?

Answer

All wedding events (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) are all happening at Della Terra! Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be taking place outside. The space is set up for colder weather with heaters, fire pits, and blankets but please plan accordingly.

Question

Will there be a shuttle service between hotels and Della Terra?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing a shuttle service between the hotels that have a reserved block and Della Terra. More details on schedule will be shared closer to the wedding date.
