In order to allow all guests, including parents, to have a good time, we have chosen for our wedding weekend to be an adult-only occasion.

If your RSVP says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Do you need a passport to travel to Mexico?

Answer

Having a passport will defiantly make your reentry process easier, but no, it is not required. From personal experience it is highly suggested.

Do I need the COVID vaccine or negative COVID test to travel across the border?

Answer

There are NO requirements for traveling to and from Mexico when walking or driving across the border. If you are flying into Tijuana, you will need to present a negative COVID test when you re-enter the states. No vaccine is required for your travel at this time.

Can I fly into Ensenada?

Answer

Ensenada has a very small airport that is expensive to fly into. We recommend you fly into San Diego and walk across the border, or you can fly directly into Tijuana. Our hotel offers a shuttle to pick you up from either location and take you directly to the hotel.

Do I need extra insurance if I choose to drive my own car into Mexico?

Answer

It is required to have extended car insurance when crossing the border. Most insurance companies cover up to 100 miles into Mexico. Please call your insurance companies to double check. Do I need to convert my US dollars into pesos?

No, you will not need to convert your money. Nearly everywhere in Ensenada takes US dollars or credit card. It is always a good idea to have cash on hand.
