Boy Meets Boy

Jonathan and Crosby met in Washington, DC in 2011. A city known more for its political theatrics and wayward suburban tourists, Crosby and Jonathan know it as the city that allowed their love to blossom and develop into the committed relationship they have today. Jonathan, an attorney and soon-to-be NASA geek, and Crosby, an LGBT advocate and soon-to-be grad student, had run in overlapping social circles for some time. They forged a friendship at DC's infamous Duplex Diner, where Crosby, moonlighting as a "waiter," provided equally infamous poor service to Jonathan, the patron of the Brunch Burger (no bun please!). What started as a friendship quickly evolved into a love rooted in a humor that is silly yet smart. A love rooted in a set of shared values, passions, and politics. And above all else, a love rooted in their fondness for ice cream (and Rufus). From swampy DC to chilly Boston to sunny San Francisco, their love has traversed the country with them. Next stop: a Mountain West wedding outside Jackson, WY in summer 2019. Bring your party hats and game faces. <3
