Things To Do

Yellowstone National Park

If you have time for a day trip, Yellowstone is just over an hour from Jackson and absolutely worth the drive. Skip straight to the West Thumb Geyser Basin for surreal lakeside hot springs, then head toward Old Faithful for the classic show. Keep your camera handy and your eyes peeled for bison and elk—they tend to wander right across the road. And if you hear the name Dutton, relax; it’s only another tourist in a cowboy hat.

Jackson Town Square

10 East Broadway Avenue, Jackson, WY 83001

Flanked by four giant entry arches constructed from elk antlers, the Town Square is the geographic and cultural heart of downtown Jackson. Walk around, visit galleries, and shop for the final piece for your wedding weekend wardrobe.

Astoria Hot Springs and Park

25 West Johnny Counts Road, Jackson, WY 83001

Natural mineral pools on the Snake River, just south of Jackson. Scenic, restorative, and the perfect spot to unwind under the vast open skies—Wyoming at its most relaxing.
