It was always you.

Brody and Rebecca were both born and raised in Beaumont, Texas. They each attended different elementary schools, but went to the same high school. They always knew of each other in high school, but never really met until Rebecca's senior year. During a theme/dress up week on Superhero Day, Rebecca dressed up like "Superwoman" and Brody just couldn't help himself, but to tell her that "he could be her hero, baby". They dated for a brief time after that before Rebecca went away to college. During the next few years, Rebecca and Brody stayed in each other's lives as close friends. Fast forward to 2016, Rebecca was now living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Brody took her on a trip to the Grand Isle of Capri in Lafayette, and asked her to be his girlfriend. The rest is history!
