We love your children! But our wedding is not a kid-friendly event. If possible, we are encouraging our friends and family to treat our wedding as a date night and find a sitter for their little ones. However, if your child needs to be accommodated because there is no alternative, please reach out to the bride and groom to make arrangements.
Due to limited space, we cannot accommodate additional guests. If your guest was invited, their name will appear on your invitation.
Winter cocktail attire. Dress to impress! We are also asking guests to be respectful of our religious customs and opt for modest, church appropriate attire. Men should wear jackets. Women are encouraged to wear a veil or other head covering to the ceremony.
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Fairfax Hilton.
We are so grateful for any gifts we have received or will receive! And we are blessed to already have a fully decorated home and most of the items that we need to start our marriage together. The few new things that we do need are listed on our registry. We are encouraging people to choose a gift off our registry if they would like to give us something.
Many of our guests will have their own car, a rental car, or Uber. However, we are providing a small shuttle to and from the Fairfax Hilton for those guests who do not have other transportation arrangements.
Of course! We will have a selection of Virginia wines from Cana including their famous mulled wine.
We are having Mexican food catered for our reception! There will be options to accommodate most diets including several vegetarian options. Food will be served buffet style. If you have specific allergies that require special accommodations, please contact the bride or groom so that we can let our caterer know.
We encourage guests to take as many photos as possible at the reception and share them with us by tagging our Instagram @carlosgetsmaryed, using the hashtag #carlosgetsmaryed, or sending them directly to us! However, we are asking our guests to be respectful while in the church. Please silence and put away all cell phones and devices and refrain from talking at all times inside the church. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos and conversation outside of the church.
