Brody and Raigan first met at Liberty University in October of 2021. Brody was a senior on the football team and Raigan had just transferred in from the University of Washington to play softball. Their paths first crossed on a Saturday night after one of Brody's football games. Raigan got introduced with the softball team during half time of the football game. That was the first time Brody had seen her in person and was blown away by her beauty. Fortunately, that wasn't the last time they would see each other that day. Fate brought them together that night and Brody got the courage to ask her over to hang out. They hit it off from the start. Later that week Raigan challenged Brody to a game of 1v1 in basketball. Brody thought this would be a great opportunity to show off his skills. Little did he know that she was a 2,000 point scorer in High School. He ended up losing because he "let her win". That was the last time he challenged her to a game of basketball. Brody was in a predicament though. He was planning on graduating that December and moving back home to Indiana to start working. With Raigan now in the picture, it changed up his plans. He ended up coming back for a 6th year to be by her and It was the best decision he could of made and the rest is history!

I knew that from the second I beat Brody at 1v1 there was something special about him. Maybe it was the fact that “he let me win” or maybe it was that he stole my heart that day. I spent the summer in Indiana with the Brumm's working and spending time with Brody before we would have to spend the whole year doing long distance. If I'm being completely honest, I thought that he was going to propose to me in Indiana and I was anticipating it to happen, but it never did, he had better plans. I went back to Washington to spend a couple of weeks with my family before I had to go back to school and for some reason one night my grandparents were very persistent on taking me and my brother out to dinner to celebrate our birthday. We had a plan to go to our favorite restaurant, but what i didn't know was the whole time the Brumm family was flying to Washington. Their flight got delayed multiple times, but they finally found a way to get there. My grandma then called me telling me that we were going to a different restaurant because she won't be done “painting her sewing room”. My grandparents came to pick us up and we went to dinner. At this time everyone at home was scrambling to get everything set up and my mom even brought in reinforcements. We had finished dinner, and it was getting late, but my brother really wanted ice cream, but somehow that wasn't enough, so we had to go to Krispy Kreme too and at this point I was more than ready to go home. Little did I know my cousin was texting my brother the whole-time things to do to pass the time before the Brumm's arrived to our house. After a few hours we finally got to go home, and little did I know there was a surprise waiting for me. The Brumm's had arrived just a few minutes before we did. Brody had just enough time to change his outfit and fix his hair. When I got home, I went inside, and everyone was hiding except for Brody who was standing in the back yard. It took me a while to notice someone was out there but when I realized it was him, I knew my life was about to change forever. Now I get to marry the love of my life and I can't wait to share the moment with all of you.
