However, when they realized that their five year anniversary, to the day, was on a Saturday and available with their wedding venue, they took it as a sign from the universe! The Ramage Family and the Smith Family are coming together as one in a new family- the Allyns! Brody and Jessica have both decided to change their last name to Allyn as a symbol of their new life together. Originally Brody's middle name, Allyn is the namesake of Brody's Great Uncle Allyn.

When Jessi and Brody matched on Tinder, Brody asked her what she was looking for. She said, 'I mean, it's Tinder. I'm not exactly expecting to meet the love of my life.' Five years later, the joke is on her.

Jessi and Brody were up in Connecticut for Jake's high school graduation party. It was the hottest day of the summer and after a day of being outside, Brody knew Jessi would want to go to her favorite beach for sunset. She was very confused why Brody wouldn't get in the water. When she finally got out, they went to take a picture and Brody got down on one knee. Jessi was very surprised, but very happy!
