We’re getting married!

They met the old fashioned way, on a dating app. Shortly after their initial encounter Adán asked Brody on their first date, a hike in the Columbia River gorge. A few days later it was dinner at La Taq, a cute Mexican restaurant in Portland, Oregon and they’ve been attached at the hip ever since.

Adán and Brody met in April 2016 in Portland Oregon. After a short courtship they decided to join households and moved in together along with their chihuahua Lana and cat St. Bartz. After accepting a promotion in 2017 Adán and Brody moved to Chicago to begin a new chapter together. Chicago provided sun, snow, and opportunity! After accepting another promotion in 2019 Adán moved back to the west coast while Brody stayed in Chicago working his way up at Ace Chicago West Loop. Adán asked Brody to marry him over breakfast at their Studio City apartment in October 2019 and Brody joined Adán in Los Angeles in March 2020, narrowly missing a pandemic lockdown.
