Sarah and Ryan both grew up nearby one another in Pennsylvania. Ironically, they attended the same high school, but they never spoke to one another during their school years. It was only a matter of time until fate brought them together many years later. In the summer of 2020, Sarah and Ryan connected through social media while Sarah was earning her teaching degree in Pennsylvania, and Ryan was stationed in Hawaii. Once they started talking, they never stopped. In December 2020, Ryan asked Sarah to be his girlfriend. They spent years maintaining their long distance relationship, where Sarah remained in Pennsylvania, and Ryan traveled all over! Although they were only able to see each other very little, they found a way to make it work. Finally, in August of 2022, Sarah and Ryan took a weekend trip to Ithaca, New York. There, they went to the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, located on the campus of Cornell University. At the very top of the museum building, overlooking the entire campus, Ryan asked Sarah to marry him. Of course, she said yes! Now, fast forward to present day, Sarah and Ryan are happily engaged and no longer in a long distance relationship! In January of 2023, Ryan officially became an Army recruiter and was stationed in Newport News, Virginia. In June of that same year, Sarah moved down there as well, and she is currently working as a special education teacher. In April 2024, Sarah and Ryan also welcomed their first dog together named Lucy, a black goldendoodle! As much as they love their current home in Virginia, Sarah and Ryan will be traveling back up to their home state of Pennsylvania to tie the knot on May 31st, 2025!
