It all started in the summer of 2021, when Arlie, my maid of honor, met Brodie and his buddy Caleb in the parking lot at TJ Maxx. They had each complimented the others cool car (Mustang & Corvette), and continued on their ways uninterested in each other. Caleb tells Brodie that he needs to get her number, so he walks over to the mustang and asks. Arlie replies that she has a boyfriend, but she also has a beautiful best friend. So they exchange snapchats. The next day, while Arlie and I were hanging out, Brodie’s Snapchat story popped up on Arlie’s phone. Curious, I asked 'WHO is that?' and Arlie began describing the guy she’d met just the day before saying "I met this guy and I think he would be perfect for you!" I immediately asked for his information and we began talking. A few months go by and Brodie asks me to go to the gym with him as friends (NOV 4 AT 7AM!!! Nobody can say I wasn't committed). From the moment I saw him I knew he was my person. After our first "official" date, December 8th 2021, I came home to my parents and said "We're planning a June wedding!" -Sydnie
It's December 13th, 2024, Brodie and I had just celebrated our 3 year anniversary on December 8th. Brodie, my family, and I had just gone to the Bentonville square to look at Christmas lights. We arrived back home to play cards when mom says "I made you an anniversary video! Everyone watch!" (If you know my mom, which you probably do considering you're coming to my wedding, you know that she will make a video montage every chance she can, so this seemed normal to me) So we did. The video was absolutely precious, and at the end it cuts to our home security camera footage of Brodie asking my dad permission to marry me. Cue the tears. Brodie get's down on one knee, and I could barely hold it together. Now we're engaged and excited to begin this next chapter of our lives! We're excited to see you in June! -Sydnie
