Monica & Broderick

Our Story

Broderick and Monica connected in the midst of the pandemic. 

First, they matched on the dating app Hinge. Broderick asked Monica out, but Monica wasn't so interested and deleted the app before a date could be set. Fast forward a few months and they matched once again... this time on Bumble. Monica remembered everything Broderick had originally told her. Broderick barely remembered that they had matched before. The rest was history.

They spent so much of their relationship upstate in the Catskills. What else was there to do in the middle of a pandemic? They hiked, kayaked, cooked, adopted a dog, and fell so in love. Upstate is where their relationship truly flourished. They couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.

On June 7, 2020 Broderick and Monica went on their first date on the beach in Long Beach. Almost exactly three years later on June 17, 2023 on that same beach, Broderick proposed to Monica and they promised spend the rest of their lives together.
