According to the red string theory, we are all connected to our soulmates by an invisible red thread, and little did we know, our strings began to intertwine as 5 year olds. As many of you know, we met in Kindergarten in Mrs. Kildow's class. Throughout our school years, we weren't close friends, but we were always aware of each other. Our paths crossed in archery practice during middle school, and again with overlapping friend groups in high school, subtly bringing us closer, even if we didn’t realize it at the time. The summer after graduation we began hanging out more, sharing late night talks and finally building a friendship. It was as if the universe was nudging us together, whispering that our time was finally arriving. After my first year at Ball State, I realized just how much I had come to cherish our time together. That summer, the red string finally revealed its true purpose, and we began dating. Now, looking back, it’s beautiful to see how the red string has woven our paths together from our first day of kindergarten to our wedding day and beyond. Each moment, every class, and each shared arrow tightened the invisible thread connecting us, as if the universe had conspired to bring us together. We can’t wait to see where this adventure takes us next, and we are so grateful to have you all by our side as we begin this new chapter together, guided by our ever-present red string.
