Question

I got a "Save the Date" or am on the RSVP list, but never got my invite

Answer

We're so sorry about that! If you are on the RSVP list, you are absolutely invited :) A number of invitations were returned for no apparent reason and have been resent out, so keep a lookout. It appears some others still haven't arrived or got lost in the mail. Please feel free to just RSVP via this website. We will make sure all details are listed here

Question

What is the Welcome Event?

Answer

The Welcome Event is a dinner and drinks event hosted on Friday night and intended for guests who are traveling from out-of-town for the wedding weekend. Attire is "festive, casual" (a term which I've made up) meaning casual, but not sweats or athletic clothes. Whatever feels weather appropriate (dress, pants or shorts, etc.) as we will be outside.

Answer

Beef Option: Sliced tenderloin of beef with sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onion sauce Salmon Option: Grilled salmon with capered cream dill sauce Vegetarian Option: Mushroom ravioli in chef’s white cream sauce with herbs and shaved parmesan All entrees will be served with assorted colorful seasonal vegetables with fig balsamic glaze and roasted mini potatoes.

Question

What should we do if we have food allergies?

Answer

Please reach out to the bride and groom directly and let us know. We will work with the caterer on accommodations.

Question

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Wedding attire is "formal." This means a black or other dark suit for men, floor length or tea-length dress for women with spring/summer-appropriate fabrics.

Question

Are there any colors that are off-limits?

Answer

Nope! Well... white :)

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes, everything on the wedding day will take place at The Foundry in Long Island City.

Question

It's hard for me to get around. What is the venue layout like?

Answer

The venue is all on one floor without stairs, so there should be no major obstacles. We will also have seating available during every portion of the event. During the ceremony there is an option to sit upstairs, but if you would specifically like us to reserve a 1st floor seat for you we are happy to do that.

For all the days along the way
