They love each other

Family and friends, Sara and I hope that you are all doing well, despite the circumstances. We wanted to let you know that we've made the difficult decision to cancel our originally planned wedding and reception. Despite this, some good news! We are happy to say that we will still be getting married on June 27! We’re not sure what this will look like yet but will likely include only us, our minister, and our immediate families on Sara’s family’s farm. We hope to celebrate with you all in the future (hopefully in a year's time) and will be in touch about plans once things have settled down, but we wanted to let you all know our decision so that you can plan accordingly. Back in 2013, on a warm spring day, Sara decided to throw an impromptu backyard hang at her house in Richmond. Matt's friend, Tony, brought along a guy Sara had never met before. She was interested in him from the get-go from the looks of his hiking sandals and dolphin tank top. They sat and talked for a long time that afternoon about everything under the sun from their love of live music to spending time in the great outdoors (If you know Matt, you know he likes to talk). On their first date, they exchanged books, he made her his famous homemade mac n' cheese, and they were smitten. Seven years later and the rest is history.
