Looking back on it, there are countless circumstances where our lives crossed. But the real connection wasn't made until high school, when Zach was a senior and I was a sophomore. Zach was somehow able to win me over with his amateur flirting, quick wit, and rusty Jeep. In November of 2014, our life-long adventure together started! Our love for each other continued to grow throughout the remainder of high school and into college. With Zach and I attending different universities, we both faced the busy schedules and late nights that come with being college students. But despite our individual challenges, the two of us were dedicated to growing our relationship and seeing each other. Zach would often visit me in Madison- this time with a new and improved Jeep! Fast forward to present day; Zach is working as a real estate agent in Stevens Point and I am excited to be graduating from UW-Madison in Spring 2021 and starting a Speech-Language Pathology Masters Program at UW-Madison in the fall. And together, we are looking forward to the next step in our adventure- marriage! We're excited to have you along for the journey.

I surprised Becca with a weekend trip to Charleston, South Carolina! Our weekend started out with great food, historic scenery, and a carriage ride. We took advantage of the scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean Saturday afternoon with a trip to Folly Beach. With the howling wind, bright sun, and temperature of 50 degrees, the beach was empty, perfect for an afternoon walk. Becca and I walked along the beach, looking for sand dollars and enjoying the sounds of the waves crashing onto the shore. As we walked I grew nervous with the ring in my pocket and the girl of my dreams next to me. Seeing that we were alone, I stopped Becca and started to give the speech I had prepared. But she somehow didn't seem to catch on and continued walking- strike one. We continued to walk and my nerves climbed, the wind grew stronger and I started attempt number two. While trying to deliver my speech, she saw a sand dollar and instantly ran to pick it up- strike two. After two failed attempts, I ditched my speech and nerves. While Becca was facing away, I got down on one knee and as she turned around, I asked the girl of my dreams to marry me. With tear-filled eyes she said yes. We were both in shock, filled with joy and ecstatic beyond belief. Becca then told me I put the ring on the wrong hand, which I quickly corrected, and our celebration together continued. I am truly blessed to call Rebecca Rose the love of my life.

The big day is set to take place on July 31, 2021. This is a day that has been over 6 years in the making, and we are so excited that it's finally here! We feel so blessed to have loving and supportive family and friends to be by our sides celebrating this remarkable day. Thank you for celebrating with us!
