It's not really a visa, but recently Thailand has made it mandatory to fill out a form stating your travel to the country. So make sure you do so before you book tickets! https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/
For the morning Thai Traditional ceremony, you can wear either traditional attire or just casual clothes (polo, sundress, etc) Any color is fine, if you're in the wedding party I will reach out directly. If you want to wear Thai Traditional, please reach out to Brock and send him your measurements so he can order it for you.
Here's a youtube video that explains it well. There's some difference between the wedding in the video and our wedding but it hits the main points well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akMl37IjrOE
Anything! We're just happy you guys are coming all the way to Thailand! In Thai culture, guests bring money to weddings as a gift because it is considered a symbol of prosperity and good fortune for the newlyweds, essentially contributing to their new life together, and is often seen as a way to demonstrate the guest's support and well wishes for the couple's financial stability.
Winter in Thailand is still hot. That's why we chose January! Most days still hit around 80 degrees.
Taxis and Ubers aren't a thing in Chanthaburi, so your best bet is to rent a car or moped. (International License is probably needed) However, we are going to try to hire some people to shuttle people around whenever they want to go somewhere.
Unfortunately not! The plan is to have everyone fly into Bangkok around January 24nd and spend a few days exploring Bangkok. On January 26th we will shuttle everyone at the same time to Chanthaburi
Bangkok is super easy to get around. You can take a Taxi, Moped, or BTS / MRT (Subway). Ideally, you should take BTS / MRT because you're more likely to be scammed by a Taxi driver.
