Things To Do

The Wedding Website of McKenna Honkanen and Brock Russell
We’re so excited to celebrate with you in the Twin Cities! Whether you’re visiting for the weekend or just passing through, there’s so much to see, eat, and explore. Here are some of our favorite spots to help you make the most of your time here.

The Nook

492 Hamline Avenue South, Saint Paul, MN 55116

The Nook has great food and is a lively, fun experience every time. Whether it’s a quick bite, a few drinks with friends or a tasty dinner, you won’t be disappointed. Check out Ranham Bowling Center and stay for fun and great food.

Cafe Latte

850 Grand Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55105

The pizza & wine bar, located in the back of the cafe - our favorite! They offer a variety of cakes, tortes, tarts & cupcakes, along with fresh baked breads & scones. We love the cake!

La Grolla

452 Selby Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55102

A cozy neighborhood Italian spot offering classic pasta & grilled dishes with a charming garden patio.

Blue Door Pub

1514 Como Avenue Southeast, Minneapolis, MN 55414

Our first date! One of our favorites to this day.

Nelson's Ice Cream

454 Snelling Avenue South, Saint Paul, MN 55105

We love a sweet treat! We also went here on our first date. Brock had McKenna order first... don't order a regular.

56 Brewing

3055 Northeast Columbia Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55418

A favorite of ours for drinks, games, and time with friends. Casual, fun, and always a good time!

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory

1225 Estabrook Drive, Saint Paul, MN 55103

The Como Park Zoo & Conservatory in St. Paul, MN, is a top, free destination offering year-round fun. Key highlights include the stunning, tropical Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, the engaging Polar Bear Odyssey, the spacious Gorilla Forest, daily Sparky the Sea Lion shows, and interactive giraffe feedings.

Can Can Wonderland

755 Prior Avenue North, Saint Paul, MN 55104

Can Can Wonderland is an artist-designed indoor mini-golf and entertainment venue located in the historic former American Can factory. It features a unique 18-hole mini-golf course, a large vintage arcade, a full bar, and food, offering a whimsical, "socially artistic" experience for all ages. Stop by BlackStack Brewery in the same building for a drink!

Wabasha Street Caves

215 Wabasha Street South, Saint Paul, MN 55107

Take a tour at the Wabasha Street Caves! Travel through time to learn about the history - mushroom farm, restaurant, casino, and gangsters' hotspot during the 1920's prohibition era. Newspapers reported of an unsolved gangland murder at the casino. One of Brock & McKenna's top recommendations.

Treasure Island Resort & Casino

5734 Sturgeon Lake Road, Welch, MN 55089

If you’re feeling lucky and have some extra time!
