Their story starts in Temecula, CA, where they both grew up. In June of 2021, Madi got her first job at a pizza shop where Brock happened to work. On her second day, Brock was the one selected to train her. For hours they laughed and chatted as they got to know one another, from the moment they met, they just had this undeniable spark. As the weeks went on and they worked more shifts together, they only got closer and their spark got bigger. Pretty early on Madi discovered a big dream of Brock's was to study Architecture in San Luis Obispo, CA. In early August of 2021, Brock's dream came true as he was accepted to Cuesta College! Shortly after his acceptance, he made the move to San Luis Obispo. In early September of 2021 Madi made the drive to SLO to visit Brock, this is the trip that changed everything. They spent the weekend together going to all the local beaches, coffee shops & restaurants, it was in these moments that they realized how special what they have is. Shortly after this trip, on September 18th, Brock and Madi made the decision to officially try long distance. For two years they spent their free time traveling to see one another, sometimes they would even meet half way in Thousand Oaks, CA just to spend a day together. They did whatever they had to do to see each other. In August of 2023, Brock got accepted into The New School of Architecture & Design in San Diego, CA. In September, Brock and Madi moved into a comfy, little one bedroom in Golden Hill, San Diego! That little house became a home as they lived there, they even adopted two kitties who quickly became their entire worlds. On August 15th, 2025, Brock asked the big question. He surprised Madi with a picnic on the beach at sunset. It was such an intimate, special moment they will both remember forever. Their love story goes to show that soulmates really do exist because that's the only way you can describe Brock & Madi.
