Written By The Groom: Brock Grotsky Jessica & I met while both working at Sam's Club when I was Jessica's "boss" & nothing has changed since :). After being just friends for years in what Jessica called being "friend zoned" we took a trip together to visit my Uncle Billy & Aunt Laura in Nashville, Tennessee. Over the next four days I realized (with the help from my Uncle Bill) that the woman I loved & the woman I needed was staring me in the face. You could say the rest is history. We started dating and after that step I was adamant that I would never get married & just wanted to keep things at the status quo. We purchased a home together & moved in 2019. I was certain we would date and be a couple for the rest of our lives without complicating things with marriage. It didn't take me long to again realize that Jessica was the most beautiful, trusting, & loving woman I would ever find. Sometimes when you know, you just know. I immediately began plotting to propose and marry my best friend. With the help of our good friends I was able to surprise Jessica with a proposal at one of our favorite places, Mount Jeez overlook in Mansfield, Ohio near the Mohican State Park & Lodge. We are both excited and anxious for our big day to come & can't wait to share this magical day with all of you.
