We’re Getting Married!

Our story began on the very last day of 8th grade, a day that was supposed to be full of goodbyes and summer excitement. Little did we know, it would mark the beginning of something that would change our lives forever. We had never crossed paths before, never shared a class or a conversation. But the maid of honor, Jessica, introduced us that day, and from that moment, something clicked. At first, we were strangers—but slowly became acquainted and our friendship grew into something deeper over time. Back then, we were both figuring things out. There were awkward conversations, nervous laughs, and that strange feeling of being so comfortable with someone you barely knew. We were each other’s first love, making everything so new, so exciting. We like to describe our relationship even in high school as easy. As Brock likes to say- we go together like peanut butter and jelly. As the years passed, our bond deepened in ways we never expected. We grew up together, learning not just about the world, but about ourselves and each other. Through all the ups and downs of growing up, we were each other’s constant. From school dances to late-night talks. Now, years later, we look back on all those moments—the awkward stages, the quiet dreams, the "what ifs"—and realize those were the building blocks of the love we share today. We dreamed of this life together back when we were still figuring out who we were, and now we’re living that dream. We’ve come so far - 7 years to be exact, and yet, it feels like the adventure is just beginning. We can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives making those dreams come true with each other.
