It all started back in April 2020, the BIG lockdown... It was becoming abundantly clear that events were getting shut down, and this included weddings. While Stephen & I were binge watching "Stranger Things" for the first time, we realized our mutual love of all things 80's. We joked around with the idea of having our wedding be 80's themed if we were forced to reschedule it. Since we had previously wanted our original date on Halloween, but didn't go through with it, we promised each other (& shook on it with a laugh), that if we had to reschedule, we would do a Halloween wedding this time around, & make it a costume party. Well, come mid-summer, things weren't looking up in the event industry, & our original venue was not easily working with us during this stressful time. We had to cancel with them completely, move all of our vendors, & plan an extremely small, & intimate backyard ceremony on our original date picked. Although it was a beautiful day, this just wasn't our vision of our wedding day. We wanted ALL of our family & friends to be able to celebrate with us, which brings us to 2021. So here we are, requesting your presence at our Hallowedding where we intend to have a short ceremony, followed by food & drinks, & dancing until you die... *Queue Hocus Pocus' Bette Midler introduction "I Put a Spell On You" scene*
