Hotel
To our beloved guests, This is the hotel that Gena and I will be staying at. Room blocks aren't a thing in Paris, but feel free to stay at this hotel with us, or at whatever hotel is feasible for you.
Flight
Gena and I will be on United flight 54 out of EWR on August, 20th 2025. Our flight departs at 9:10pm, and lands on August 21st, 2025 at 10:55am.
Travel Note
For those who will be traveling to Paris for the first time, please note: -- Most check in times for Paris hotels is 3pm, and it is *highly* unlikely that your room will be ready before then. If you are booking a flight that lands early morning, we recommend dropping your bags off at the hotel and then heading out to sightsee until your room is ready. --Uber is widely used in Paris, and their metro system is a close second to NYC's train system. Meaning, you get literally get anywhere in Paris by train/subway. If you are planning to travel through the city by train, we recommend downloading "Bonjour RATP". This app is super easy to use, and will map out your train ride(s) once you plug in your destination. --Credit/Debit cards are widely accepted in Paris, but it's also a good idea to have some euros on you as well. *Please note* American Express is not accepted in most of Europe, Paris included. --In order to have the most pleasant Parisian experience possible, we recommend learning how to say "I don't speak french, do you speak english?" in french. Most Parisians speak english, and will gladly converse with you in english when asked. Most French people consider it rude if you do not at least try to communicate in French, first. **FYI** --We recommend booking food reservations and sightseeing tickets well in advance, especially if the restaurant/tourist attraction is popular. Most restaurants require that you call them directly to make a reservation, so feel free to call through "WhatsApp" so that you are not charged for an international call.
