We adore your children, but due to space and venue limitations, this will be an adults-only event.
We're keeping our guest list intimate, so unfortunately we're unable to accommodate additional guests that are not formally listed on the invitation.
We'd love for our guests to dress in semi-formal garden attire with a garden-party feel. Think elevated and polished while still comfortable for an outdoor celebration. Maxi dresses, floral prints, button-downs, slacks, sport coats, and suits are all great options. Please keep in mind the ceremony and reception is outdoors, so we recommend shoes suitable for grass and uneven ground.
Parking will be available through the second gate to the right of the Cochran house. There are two entry gates - one will remain closed throughout the event. Closer parking spots will be reserved for guests who may need easier access, including grandparents and those with mobility needs. We will have a valet attendant on-site to assist with parking for guests parking at the house. Overflow parking will be available directly across the street at New Market Hair Salon.
We're planning for the evening to have a more relaxed, elegant atmosphere rather than a traditional late-night after party. We'll have live music for parts of the celebration, but we will not have a DJ. Were looking forward to a beautiful evening focused on good food, drinks, conversation, and celebrating together with the people we love most!
Our ceremony and reception will both take place entirely outdoors. The house itself will not be part of the event space for guests, but the back screened door will be unlocked throughout the evening for guest restroom access.
The entire wedding celebration will take place in the backyard of the house. Once parked, head toward the small ramp located in front of the carriage house. From there, walk across the gravel lot between the carriage house and the main house. You'll enter through the blue-gray gate, where signs and staff will help guide you to the ceremony area.
