"Britton and I met over 13 years ago through a mutual friend. We quickly realized how similar we were, and our lives have been interwoven ever since. Over the years, Donny & Britton have become such integral parts of our family. I’m so honored to stand by them on their big day and celebrate the love they share."

"Over the years as children and young adults, Donny and I crossed paths multiple times without knowing where we would be today. We became friends quickly in passing and began to hang out, even starting out at SVSU together in different capacities. Coffee dates and mad dashes through thunderstorms to see Godzilla gave us countless times of laughter and built our friendship. He was there in every capacity even in distance and officiated my wedding because I knew he was one of my most trusted friends. I met Britton through Donny and I knew this was the person for him. He was thoughtful and funny, but also kept a good balance for Donny. I love that the friendship with both of them feels effortless and natural. I am honored that they chose me to be a part of their special day and lives! I can't wait to see how they grow and move forward together!"

"Britton and I met in our late teens/early twenties and I’m so grateful that the universe brought us together. We lived together through address after address and both have plenty of retail job stories to tell you after a few drinks. But throughout it all, there was no one that I would have rather had at my side all those years. When Britton came home after his first date with Donny, I was elated to hear all the details. Soon, Donny became such an important part of Britton’s life and I was honored to witness their love story come together. I can’t wait for everything that these two will experience in their future together!"

"Sometimes in life, you meet someone who makes you better just by being themselves. That’s my relationship with Donny. We met years ago at a meeting for teachers of the First Year Writing Program at SVSU, and since that day, his strength and his story have been an inspiration to me. As a fellow author and poet, he’s helped me aspire to mold my craft and to breathe life into it. Though I left the classroom in 2019 to pursue other roles in academia, the greatest thing I’ve taken from that time in my life is Donny’s friendship. Long live the days of broccoli-cheddar soup and readings!"

"Hi everyone! My name is Emily, and I'm from Grand Rapids, MI. Britton and I met 15+ years ago and bonded over our love for Neopets, MSN Messanger, and Yahoo Answers. Since meeting Donny we're able to bond over all things nerd! I cannot wait to celebrate these two in November!"

"Donny and I met on the school bus when he was in Kindergarten! We were always super friendly with each other, but grew particularly closer in 2016 when he moved in and became my roommate. Donny spent 2.5 years living with me and in that time we grew super close. We've gone to many concerts and events together. So many laughs, inside jokes were shared, and even more memories to last a lifetime. Donny is like my brother, and I consider him family. Britt came into his life when Donny was living with me, and I immediately liked him. He is so warm, kind, sassy, funny, and the most perfect partner Donny could ever ask for. I love them both!"

"I live in Kalamazoo with my 2 cats, Octavian and Poe, and work as the Director of Advising & Counseling for a college. I am often found out and about in Kzoo, playing video games, reading, and when possible, speeding up to Midland to see friends. I first met Britton in my early twenties (so totally not that long ago) through our friend Megan (hey girl) and ever since then I’ve enjoyed his quick wit, his fabulousness, and his fierce loyalty. Britton and Donny have been two of my constant sources of support throughout my many misadventures. From my decision to move across the country and at one point to an entirely different country, to nights out at Club Vortex (It’s really not that far from my house... we can just walk). I am so honored to be able to show up and stand up in my support of these amazing friends. Congratulations, Britton and Donny!"

"I met Donny six years ago when he started dating Britton, who was already an integrated member of Megan and I’s family. Donny and I soon began to realize we were there to support each other when our significant others type A personalities set in. We have bonded over our love of naps, sweet treats, and the occasional carb. Donny is not just a friend he is family. I am so happy to be apart of this special day. Cheers to a wonderful couple!"

"Hi, I’m Bri - proud cat mom to two furry overlords who definitely run the show. I survived years of retail chaos at rue21 alongside Britton, so we’re basically professionals at the art of suffering. I spend my days navigating the exiting world of real estate law and estate planning because nothing says romance like fine print and contracts. I can't wait to celebrate this November!"

"I met Donny through my wife, Tiffany. We had countless nights of Mario Kart and laughs when we lived in West Branch when Donny would come over to visit. Over the years, Donny has been a great friend. He's always had an open ear and a big heart for his friends. He also can be sassy and has a great sense of humor. Between his ability to debate and his open mind, I blame him for making me more open-minded over the years. He officiated my wedding and I couldn’t have picked a better person to do so. I met Britt through him when we went on a double date to Olive Garden years ago. Britt’s sense of humor and silly quips made a great first impression and I liked him immediately. Donny and Britton balance each other and I’m extremely happy that I get to be a part of their wedding and their lives."

"Hi my name is Cole! I really enjoy video games, art, and music and just having a good time. I also enjoy spending time outdoors (my favorite color is green) and travelling to places I've never been. I met Britton while we worked at Rue21, and we quickly built a friendship over our appreciation for RuPaul’s Drag Race, Pokémon and pop culture. What started as work friendship turned into inside jokes and a introduction to Donny! We've all been close ever since. I'm so excited to be part of their special day!"

"I have never once been accused of being shy or reserved, and I am a fierce warrior for human rights. I first met Donny Winter in 2016 when we joined forces at Delta College and SVSU. At first, I did not realize that Donny was part of the secret society of The Hero Professors of English, but once we recognized this membership in each other we became an unstoppable team, bringing the great knowledge of writing and literature to students across the globe. I watched and advised as Donny spent years searching through various potential partners only to come up with villains, and at best, antiheroes. However, one great day, Donny revealed to me that he had found a real partner with whom to fight the injustices of this world, Britton. I was hesitant but accepted Donny's keen sense of right and wrong to determine the worth of this man, this new partner of his. And when I moved to a different land, I entrusted Britton to serve with Donny to protect the Land of the Mitten. I now work teaching the children of the Land of the Corn as a professor of English and writing, and I remember fondly my time conquering the world with Donny. We still meet at hero conventions all across the world, working on new techniques and methods to fight the evil that is ignorance."
