Flight
For our out-of-town guests, the closest major airport is San Diego International Airport (SAN). The airport is about a 45-minute drive from our wedding venue, depending on traffic. We recommend renting a car if you plan to explore the area or are staying at a hotel outside of the immediate Fallbrook area. San Diego is spread out, and having your own transportation will make it easy to get around and enjoy the sun.
Flight
John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Orange County is another great option for our out-of-town guests. It’s about a 1 hour and 15 minute drive to Monserate Vineyards & Winery. This airport is a perfect choice if you’re planning to spend some time in Orange County (think beaches, shopping, Disneyland, or coastal dining) before or after the wedding. We recommend renting a car for the easiest travel, but rideshares like Uber and Lyft are also available if you prefer not to drive.

The Seabird Resort offers a beautiful oceanfront stay in the heart of Oceanside. Just steps from the beach and pier, guests can enjoy spacious rooms with coastal views, a relaxing pool and spa, and walkable access to local shops, restaurants, and the shoreline. The resort is about 30–35 minutes (20 miles) from Monserate Vineyard & Winery, making it a convenient and relaxing place to stay for the wedding weekend.
