Brittny & Gabriel officially met at Okeechobee Music Festival in 2016. Like most music festivals they attended, eccentric outfits and costumes were always encouraged, and Brittny & Gabriel were surprised to realize they were both dressed as bananas that weekend. You read that correctly, bananas. Like a true millennial love story, Gabriel sent Brittny a Facebook friend request the day they got home from the festival, and the rest is history. Gabriel began courting Brittny with his world-famous puns, and they effortlessly became friends. They realized they went to and graduated from the same university, enjoyed the same music, and shared many hobbies. They officially began dating in 2017, became first-time homeowners together in 2020, and engaged in 2021.

One day after the anniversary of their first date, Gabriel had plans to pop the question, and Brittny was totally oblivious. Gabriel took Brittny to Bok Tower Gardens, a historic botanical garden in Lake Wales, FL, where unbeknownst to Brittny, he had a ring in his backpack and a photographer hiding in the trees at the gardens. While Brittny is typically difficult to surprise, on October 16, 2021, she was utterly shocked, in disbelief, she might have even lost consciousness for a few seconds. It was the easiest “yes” she’s ever said, and just like that, they were engaged. The happy couple is so excited to celebrate this next chapter of their lives with you. See you in Howey-In-The-Hills!
