We met through a dating app called Bumble. Online dating has always been a hit or miss for the both of us. Let me tell you, it has been more of a "miss." We both have had some pretty strange and interesting encounters through online dating apps! That didn't discourage us from going forward, So; we both started talking through the app and decided to give each other a chance in person. Our first date was at Salt Grass steak house, where we talked and laughed the whole night. We lost track of time and realized that we were the last people to leave. We slowly packed up our barely eaten food (you know how new couples don't eat in front of each other) and walked out to the car to leave. On the car ride back to our houses, we couldn't stop laughing about a joke that had to do with the Kool-aid man. We kept saying "oooooh yeeeeeeah" to each other, mimicking the way the Kool-aid man says it in the commercials. It's the little things that kick start beautiful and everlasting relationships and of course ours had to be something funny. Ever since that night, we didn't think twice about seeing each other and it has been an amazing journey ever since!
