Meet the bride! Brittni is a veterinarian who graduated from Purdue University in 2023. She and Brenden met in 2021 while both attending Purdue. When Brittni is not busy with work or rescuing animals (the couple currently have 6 rescues) she enjoys reading, thrifting, and hiking with the dogs.

Brenden Meyer

Groom

Meet the Groom! Brenden is an engineer at Gulfstream Aerospace. He is a 2021 graduate of Purdue University. When he is not working or helping Brittni care for their many rescue animals (yes, they really do have 6) he enjoys kitesurfing, videogames, and restoring pinball machines.

Nina Brown

Maid of Honor

Nina has been Brittni's best friend of 26 years! The two met as babies when Nina's grandma started babysitting Brittni. Throughout the years, their friendship only grew and Brittni is forever grateful to have had such a good friend by her side her entire life.

Michala Burke

Bridesmaid

Michala and the bride met in middle school and have been wonderful friends ever since. Michala, Nina, and Brittni immediately clicked and have stayed close friends throughout the years. From vacationing in the Outer Banks together to just hanging out and talking all night, these three have been through it all with each other.

Bryn Evans

Bryn is Brittni's younger sister. Having wanted a sibling her whole life, Brittni was ecstatic when Bryn finally filled the role. Brittni considers herself very lucky and blessed to have such a goofy and sassy sister with the sweetest heart.

Dan Sherwood

Brenden considers Dan to be the brother he never had. He started as Brenden's babysitter when Brenden was 2 years old and their relationship grew into friendship and has remained strong over the past 24 years. Dan introduced Brenden to pinballs and taught him how to restore them. The two have also bonded over video games and paintball.

Aaron Moore

Groomsman

Aaron and Brenden met in high school and immediately became friends, bonding while on the same baseball team. After attending different universities, the two remained close and Aaron even convinced Brenden to apply for a job at Gulfstream. Brenden is grateful to have spent the past 2 years living so close to one of his best friends. Aaron has been a supportive, funny, and caring friend to both the bride and groom and the couple is excited to have him stand by their side on their big day.

Alex Falkenberg

Groomsman

Alex and Brenden met at Purdue University while the two were struggling through their dynamics course together. After bonding over shared interests, the two eventually became roommates. When they were not studying or frequenting Harry's Chocolate Shop together, the two enjoyed rock climbing and video games. Despite currently living in different states, the two look forward to watching Formula One with each other weekly.

Beasley

Unofficial Flower Girl

Beasley is a labrador retriever/pitbull mix that Brittni rescued 6 years ago prior to starting veterinary school. She helped Brittni throughout veterinary school and was the best wingwoman when Brittni and Brenden met. Brenden just couldn't say no to Beasley's puppy dog eyes when they met.

Barley

Unofficial Ring Bearer

Barley is a dachshund/pomeranian mix that Brittni and Brenden rescued just over 1 year ago. Brittni met Barley on her shelter medicine rotation during her clinical year and it was love at first site when she sent a photo of him to Brenden. After months of training, Barley has become a very well-behaved boy and is currently working towards becoming a therapy dog!

Tito

Dog of Honor

Tito is a senior chihuahua that the couple rescued after he was suspected to have cancer and needed a hospice home. Despite the grave prognosis given to him prior to his adoption in October of 2023, Tito is thriving as the fiestiest chihuahua.
