Jordan and Brittney found each other online, quickly setting a casual date at a Mexican restaurant. They got to know each other over margaritas and discovered how easy it was to laugh together. Brittney loved that he hugged her so tight without expecting anything in return and Jordan loved that she shared her opinions, with their world perspectives naturally aligning. They went on more dates over the following months, including traveling to nearby states for hiking trips. Soon, they started to see each other more and more until time apart was less frequent than time together. They officially moved into their home together just in time to celebrate Christmas 2021.

Jordan had been holding onto the ring for awhile and planned to propose to Brittney sometime in the summer, knowing he would feel when the time was right. While on a weekend date for sushi and ice cream, he felt his nerves calm and the urge to pop the question. While walking with their ice cream along the beautiful Monon River Trail, Brittney stopped to admire the ducks and went in for a hug. Jordan had a speech prepared, expressing the certainty of their future and love he'd always felt. Brittney listened to his usual sweet and meaningful words, not knowing he was proposing until the final line - the question! Gleefully shocked, she asked if he was serious before responding yes! We are so thrilled to invite our loved ones to celebrate our marriage!
