Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Brittney Heibel and Travis Sampson
There are so many things to do in the Seattle area, as well as the greater PNW. Mountains in every direction about 1-2 hours away. Food and drinks in Capital Hill, West Seattle, and Downtown. Ferry rides to Vashon or Bainbridge Island for some shopping and food. Museums, libraries, aquariums and arboretums galore! We've included a few activities below, but reach out to Brittney or Travis if you're looking for something specific!
Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market

85 Pike St, Seattle, WA 98101

Pike Place is a Seattle staple that we both love to visit! We recommend going between 10am-2pm. This is when all the best vendors/shops/food places are open. You can also walk around the boardwalk across the street, the pedestrian bridge overlooking the ferries, and see the Seattle skyline/space needle views.

Ferry Ride to Bainbridge Island

Ferry Ride to Bainbridge Island

Seattle Ferry Terminal, Seattle, WA 98104

Bainbridge island had a cute downtown area with shops, restaurants, and is perfect for walking around! It's also our favorite to take a ferry ride, so you can hit two love birds with one stone!

Arboretum Loop Trail

Arboretum Loop Trail

1742 26th Avenue East, Seattle, WA 98112

A wonderful trail loop, still in the city, but you will feel like you're in the middle of a forest.

Diablo Lake Trail

Diablo Lake Trail

Diablo Lake Vista Point, Whatcom County, WA 98283

This is a drive-up, overlook trail. No hiking needed! This is also the spot where Travis and Brittney became engaged!! We love the drive up to Ross Lake and Diablo Lake, and would highly recommend making a visit if you have the time. The drive from Seattle to Diablo Lake is about 2.5-3 hours, you can spend as long as you want to pulling off for pictures or stopping at little trails.

Alki Beach

Alki Beach

Seattle, WA 98116

Highly recommend going to the Alki Beach area for lunch/dinner, walking along the beachfront where you can see the Seattle Skyline and many islands. We also love stopping at Natali's on Alki for a milkshake or sweet treat!

Seattle Kraken Sport Court

Seattle Kraken Sport Court

Seattle, WA 98178

We highly recommend catching a Seattle Kraken hockey game if you can! Their season starts in late September, and the Climate Pledge Arena is one of our favorite sports arenas!

Elliott Bay Book Company

Elliott Bay Book Company

1521 10th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122

One of Brittney's favorite local book shops! It is in a very touristy area that can be pretty busy, but if you have time to shop around, Seattle has so many amazing book stores.
