WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!

There are many times when a love story begins with a smile, well for Brittney and Todd that's exactly how their story starts (…kind of). Their love story really started some twenty years ago, back when Todd was in 7th grade, and was fitted for braces through Dr. Dandona and Dr. Curry's Orthodontics. Brittney, of course, would eventually become employed there some 10 years later and remain employed there until she met Todd. Now, for the day they met. It was a fateful day in the fall of 2018, Todd was on his way home from law school when he realized that his bottom permanent retainer snapped in half. He called Dr. Curry and Dr. Oh’s Orthodontics to see if they could squeeze him in that day. A sweet voice answered, and informed him that they had an opening at the end of the day. Todd later learned that it was Brittney who answered the call. Todd arrived at the office, checked-in, and for the first time caught eyes with Brittney. Todd was eventually seen by Dr. Curry where they engaged in small talk about what Todd had been doing since having his braces removed. According to Brittney, at some point Dr. Curry stepped out of the room and said something to the effect of “You should talk to him!”. Todd already knew that before he left that day he was going to try to connect with the blonde at the front desk. As Todd was making his follow-up appointment, they began talking, i.e. flirting. But it would be weeks before Todd would have the courage to ask Brittney out. Brittney would effectively make the first move by adding Todd to her Instagram, and likewise Todd added her. For the next few weeks they each watched the other’s stories and pursued each other’s posts. Brittney eventually posted a story and Todd directly messaged her, or as the kids might say he “slid into her dm’s”. Todd stated, rather boldly something to the effect, “You’re very attractive, I don’t know if you’re seeing someone, but if you are, when that fails, I’d love to take you out.” Britt responded, “In fact, I’m not, I’d love for you to take me out.” They went on their first date a week later. They were supposed to grab dinner and drinks, but Kyle, Todd’s twin brother, caused them to change their plans. Kyle was home from Korea and at the last minute asked Todd to call Brittney to see if she would want to join them at the Canyon Club so he could meet her. Brittney met the proposed audible with pure enthusiasm and the rest is history!
