Wedding Party

We want you to meet our Ride or Dies! These are the people who have been with us through the worst of times and the best of times. Some we've known our whole lives and others, we knew when we met, that we'd know them for the rest of our lives. We are so honored and privileged to have them standing by our sides on our big day.

Savannah

Matron of Honor

Older sister, best friend, and mother of 3 of the most incredible little humans! Having grown up only one year younger (honestly, we might as well have been twins) I've had the unique experience of getting to navigate childhood and adulthood with Savannah, learning life’s most valuable lessons in tandem, loving and supporting each other, unconditionally. Savannah has seen me through some of my toughest times, but has also been there to celebrate my happiest. We have shared so many good times (sometimes laughing so hard we fall on the ground crying - and then can't remember why we were laughing so hard in the first place). She is an inspiration to me and has allowed me to find myself, no matter where that path might have led.

Greg

Best Man

Old man Greg, not to be confused with "Old Gregg," and I have been friends since our middle school years. Greg was one of the first friends I made after moving back to the Baltimore area from Louisiana and we have been getting into antics ever since. A friendship that started with Halo and NFL 2K sleepovers quickly blossomed into a combined appreciation for romcoms and home made movies. However it wasn't until we formed the multi-time tag team champion Shiners that Greg and I became besties for life. Nowadays we spend our time fending off wild ponies at Assateague and realizing how bad we are at darts but we will always have those Shiner days. Just as Greg trusts me with the title of Godfather I could think of no one else to hold title of Best Man.

Jeanette

Matron of Honor

Oldest sister, protector, and role model of strength, perseverance, and dedication. When Jeanette puts her mind to something, there is no stopping her and I have always admired that. She is fiercely loyal - once defending my honor in Ocean City at a bus stop (okay so yes, maybe it was after a night out at Seacrets). We might have also gotten into a tricep dip competition… also outside of Seacrets one year later. Jeanette was there when Savannah and I turned 21 three years in a row at Bennigans. As older sister, she navigated the harder parts of life ahead of me and as a result, taught me more about life than she could know.

Stann

Groomsman

I've known Stann my whole life, and one thing I can say about him is that he hasn't changed a bit! As the big brother Stann shouldered the responsibility of taking care of the two of us while our parents definitely didn't leave us home alone. We were pretty inseparable in our early years and when it came time for college I couldn't imagine missing an opportunity to run and party with my brother for 4-5 more years. Stann offers everything you could ever ask for in a big brother, he's there to support you in any way you need, never afraid to call you out on your BS, and will not hesitate to challenge you to a game of beer pong or baseball. I truly hope that he never changes and continues to be a guiding force as I enter this next stage of life. Godspeed Mr. Waithe.

Michelle

Bridesmaid

Best friend from high school, my forever Wifey. Michelle and I met at the start of high school and I knew we'd be friends for life. From swapping hand written, decorated notes (with lots of hearts and Terps references) to all our debauchery in college and beyond, to watching her become such an incredible mother to Caden, Michelle has been this constant source of love, unconditional friendship, and support. During one especially hard time, I remember she just put her arm around me and told me "You'll always be my Wifey." As long as what I was choosing in life made me happy, Michelle was along for the ride. She's a true friend, always willing to tell it how it is, and show up for the big moments and small. I'm so happy to have her with me for this big moment.

Stevie

Groomsman

From "Little Man" to "Mr. Hop Skip Jump" Stevie and I have really seen our relationship as brothers grow and strengthen over the years. A measly 6 years apart I was able to come back to the Baltimore area and witness Stevie evolve from a shy ashy elbowed kid into a force on the track and eventual All American. I even had the pleasure to coach Stevie to a coveted 50% free throw stat line for his last year of high school basketball. All in all Stevie is a magnetic force and presence wherever he goes. Whether its the loud music, side splitting jokes, or fancy dance moves Stevie brings laughter and joy to any occasion. I still fondly remember the early days of discovering Soulja Boyon Youtube together. When it comes to wedding day, you know where to find us both.

Danielle

Bridesmaid

FRIEND! Very early on Danielle earned the title of FRIEND for me, defining that word in every aspect of her life. D and I met at Maryland when she worked for the women's basketball team her first year out of college. I was a senior manager at the time. Our friendship was secured as we sang and danced to "Gasolina" at a dance club in Cancun (we were there for basketball, I swear!). D has seen me make some really Poor Life Decisions (PLDs) but has never faltered in her friendship and support of me. Danielle is an incredible human being, with so much love, faith, and friendship to share. She is down for anything and is always the facilitator of a good time. Look for her on the dance floor all night long!

Matt

Groomsman

While Brittney will always be my better half, Matt, or Wheeler, or Raymond will always be my Other half (don't let that math confuse you). To this day we each describe the other as the White or Black version of the other. Matt and I met in college on the track team and the connection was instant. It was the love story I didn't know I needed. Only with Matt could I have truly discovered my inner nerd playing World of Warcraft while also learning how to be comfortable with myself. Whether it was wearing sweatpants out to the bars and doing any number of group dances, or finding a new affinity for watermelon, Matt was always by my side ready to tackle any situation life threw our way. We shared tears, laughs, joy and pain, and I look forward to continuing to do all over again.

Lauren

Bridesmaid

Best friend from high school, hilarious and silly, and always ready to get into trouble (I'd argue even after having the little one). Lauren and I met in high school and although as a teenager I had serious FOMO when Michelle and Lauren were able to hang out, Lauren and I developed our own special friendship over the years. Lauren has always been this stoic force for me, always seemingly one step ahead, in the best of ways, forging the path for us to be able to follow. She entered her career first, got married first, and was the first in our group to have a baby and become this amazing mother (which none of us doubted), showing me all the ways that life is so beautiful. I am so happy she will be standing up there with me!

Franklin

Groomsman

Hey It's Franklin! For as long as I can remember Frank has been part of the family, a second older brother. I remember always looking up to Stann and Frank and chasing after their shadows. I admired the presence they had in every room and situation and tried to be like them (even to the point of joining the school musicals). As we got older, Frank and I shared a lot of great years, and he was one of the main people to keep me grounded and help me find my way when I finally moved back to Maryland. Without him I wouldn't have gotten to explore my passion for coaching or gambling, both of which I still enjoy to this day! These days I am busy admiring the father and friend Frank has become and will continue to use him as a role model moving forward. Couldn't imagine celebrating without him.

Taryn

Bridesmaid

Sister from another mister, souls separated at birth?! How to describe this wonderful, passionate, smart, wildly absurd, and loving friend of mine?! Stevann (and Andrew for that matter) will tell you that I stole Taryn from them. They aren't wrong. I'd hear about this girl who'd stop by their office at work to chat. When I finally met Taryn for the first time, we became FAST friends. We have jammed 33 years of life into just 4 years of friendship and I'd say plan to continue at this break neck pace. We've known from the beginning that we would be friends for life. We have laughed so hard it hurts, cried - even over happy things, listened to each other's frustrations, and joined with each other as we navigated any emotion. I couldn't imagine getting married without Taryn by my side.

Andrew

Groomsman

Andrew and I have known each other the shortest among the groomsmen but you would find it hard to believe when you meet him. Truly an unexpected gift from life as I met a best friend in the world of social work. Brittney will always claim that she knew we would hit it off, but after hearing about this guy who interviewed with mutton chops I was pretty skeptical. Well after he got hired and we shared an office, I realized that we had all the right things in common. From learning about League of Legends to exploring the Baltimore nightlife there is not a situation that you can't throw Andrew into. I would never have discovered my tolerance for metal music had it not been for this bass guitar playing metal head. Andrew is the wing man I never knew I wanted but the one I will always need.
