Sometimes love doesn’t begin with a grand plan—it begins with courage.
Ours began on Instagram, when Stephen decided to shoot his shot, Devin Booker–style, and changed our lives forever. From that first conversation, there was something undeniable. What started as messages quickly became meaning. We discovered that our hearts were aligned in the ways that mattered most—our long-term dreams, our short-term goals, and most importantly, our faith. With God and family at the center of everything, we knew this was more than chance. It was purpose. Stephen became my steady place—supportive, loving, endlessly funny, and always showing up when it mattered. Through every season, even the difficult ones, we never gave up on each other. We learned how to choose love daily, how to balance life while still making space for one another, and how to grow stronger together instead of apart. One of the biggest milestones of our journey came when we purchased our very first home—four months before getting engaged. It wasn’t just a house; it was a promise of the life we were building side by side. Then came November 12, 2024—a day I’ll cherish forever. Stephen took me to Top of the Rock for dinner, making the day feel special from the very start. But nothing could have prepared me for what waited at home. When I walked into our living room, I was met with love in its purest form—, our home, and Stephen asking me to be his forever. It was intimate, thoughtful, and completely us. Marriage, to us, means never giving up. It means choosing each other through joy and challenge, laughter and growth. It means keeping Jesus at the center of our marriage, allowing Him to guide us as we continue to grow, dream, and build a life rooted in faith and love. Our story isn’t perfect—but it’s ours. And it’s just beginning.
