It’s funny to think we met through an ex of his, but we kicked it off right away and the rest is history. A natural born athlete to which I’ll never forgot that first time we played pickup football. Always one to to spark a debate, it’s no wonder that he became a lawyer.

We met on the first day of college in engineering class, though neither of us decided to persue it. We shared a common love for sports and he introduced me to the rest of the Umass group during whiffleball games at the central dorms. These days you can find him playing any number of lawn games at our backyard BBQs.

Another close Umass friend, who shares a love for travel. We both studied abroad in Europe and enjoyed a vacation of a lifetime going to the World Cup in Brazil. When he’s not traveling you can find him hiking local trails or enjoying a craft beer at your local brewery.

Yet another Umass friend, he introduced me to European soccer which has become a great interest of mine. Though we root for ultimate rivals, we always share a respect for the game. Another world traveler, he joined Mike and I in Brazil for the World Cup and just before the pandemic was teaching English in Columbia.

The last of the Umass friends, we share similar interests in both music and love of sports. I have him to thank for introducing me to the Foo Fighters. He’s always the one to liven the night with some acoustic guitar when group gets together.
