To The Moon and Back

Our story started with a swipe on Tinder, and somehow, out of 8 billion people, we found each other. It all began with a simple "hey" from Brittney, but that was just the start. A few weeks in, we discovered we’d grown up just two blocks apart, walked our dogs on the same paths, and even went to the same high school. Yet, our paths never crossed until the right time. It’s as if everything had been leading up to this moment without us even realizing it.

I planned what Brittney thought were just "grad photos," but as we were taking them, I grabbed both her hands and said, "I'm really nervous." That’s when she started to catch on to what was going down! I told her how, when we first started dating, I wasn’t sure where things were headed, but as time went on, I knew for sure I wanted her to be the mother of my kids and my wife. Then I dropped to one knee and asked, "Brittney Avery Mildenberger, will you marry me?" Obviously, she said YES! We wrapped up with an awesome engagement photoshoot and headed straight to the Kananaskis Lodge to kick back at the Nordic Spa.

We’ve shared some amazing adventures together, from road trips through Jasper, Banff, Montana, and Kelowna to sunny getaways in Miami, St. Thomas, San Juan, Cancun, San Francisco, and Maui. Exploring new places has become one of our favorite things to do, and we’re excited to see where our travels take us next.
