Then off we go to see the remarkable Grand Prismatic Spring. We continue through meadows and forest to the falls of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Evening will find us searching for wolves and bears in Lamar Valley "America's Serengeti" To finish the day we will arrive in Cooke City, Montana perfectly nestled between Lamar Valley, Montana’s Beartooth Mountains, and the Wyoming Sunlight Basin. This action packed day will start early! After some breakfast at the Log Cabin Cafe https://www.thelogcabincafe.com/ Lamar Valley is one of the best opportunities to see the famous Junction Butte Pack of 19 wolves so bring your binoculars/spotting scope and be ready for the action. Once the wolves are sleeping for the day we will head to Mammoth Hot Springs to see the elk roaming around the town and have some lunch and ice cream. We will continue toward Canyon Village and West Thumb before headed south back to Jackson Hole.
