A whole bunch of "swipe lefts" left both of us with a swipe right on the good ole dating app The League. We decided to meet for a drink on one of the hottest most rainy Friday nights in July. Upon meeting, at a pop up "block party" bar we found that we had many things in common, including the fact that we went to the same college where he had met some of my friends before. 3+ froses' in we decided to grab dinner, in the rain, and the rest is history.

Prior to this morning we had been discussing what workouts we were both going to in the morning. Since we were headed to DC the next day we had to ensure we would not be late for the flight. Brittney got up in the morning to head to an Orangetheory class and Marco was supposed to be going to spin that day but "forgot" to sign up. An hour and a half later Brittney walked in from Orangetheory (to change and head to yoga before the flight) for which Marco called to her, "come and see my outfit for the airplane." When Brittney approached the door she saw all the rose petals, ring, and a phone recording the reaction she could not believe what was happening; for the first time in her life was actually surprised. Funny thing was, she would not walk into the room to hear the proposal and would stick her head into the room and then walk out. Finally she came into the room and started crying (this was a first) and the word YES came out of her mouth.
