Question

Where is the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

Both will take place at the White Oaks Barn Venue. If you type this into Apple Maps it should take you directly there. If not, here is the address: 23255 RT-11 Kirksville, MO 63501

Question

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Answer

Great question! Unfortunately, it is against White Oaks liquor license to have outside alcohol. If you do so, the bride and groom will be charged with a pricey fee. We ask, please don't jeopardize this for the newly weds. Luckily, the bride and groom have purchased a keg of refreshing Busch Light, and Lime margaritas until they are gone. Enjoy! If you don't like either of these choices, the bar is stocked full of various other items where you can purchase at your own cost.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM sharp! With this being said, please arrive around 3:30 to ensure all are given the chance to find parking and comfortably find a seat outside. Our timeline does not allow for us to delay our ceremony start time for late comers. For family members, we are wanting to get the majority of the picture taking prior to the ceremony, so we are asking close family members to be at the venue by 3PM.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

With our groomsmen wearing jeans, it sets the tone! Wear whatever you are most comfortable in and able to join us on the dance floor! The ceremony will take place outdoors!

Question

Is the ceremony outside or inside?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside (pending weather), fingers crossed for a beautiful warm sunny day! Remember, August can be a hot one, dress appropriately but let's be real, the ceremony will last at most for maybe 30 minutes.

Question

Am I able to leave my vehicle at the venue for the night?

Answer

We hope all will enjoy our free beverages we have provided (until they are gone) and dance all night until we have to start slowing the party down (11:30PM). If you are getting a DD and need to leave your vehicle there, you may leave your vehicle in the parking lot until 2:00PM the following day (Sunday 8.21.22). Be safe, we care about you!

Question

What food will be served at the reception?

Answer

The bride and groom love everything about Mexican food! It is only appropriate that we will be serving a Mexican fajita bar catered by Mi Casa. There will also be chips, salsa, and queso served as well! For dessert, enjoy some delicious cupcakes made by the brides family, and horchata. What is horchata? Horchata is a traditional Mexican drink made up of white rice soaked in water, it's flavored with cinnamon and its sweetened with granulated sugar. Everything is minced up together in a blender and later strained to remove solids.
