We met at a mutual friend's birthday/NYE party knowing nothing about one another. At one point during the party, we happened to lock eyes and both smiled at each other. As the night went on the two of us got partnered together to play beer pong. Needless to say, Justin led the team to a victory that night as Britt had a hard time seeing the cups... not much has changed! Two days later Justin asked Brittney out on a date via Instagram as he forgot to get her number that night. She said yes, so they met at a brewery and chatted over a couple of beers. The conversation was easy and they enjoyed each other's company so they ensued on more dates and the rest is history!

Earlier in the week Justin had planned to have a date night with Britt where they would go on a walk and enjoy some drinks at a brewery after. That Saturday, after Brittney was getting off work, she quickly got changed into leisurely clothes thinking nothing different of the night they had planned. They drove off to Boom Island Park where Justin was constantly on his phone. Britt was somewhat suspicious, but again, thought nothing of it. As they got to the park they found out that a beer festival was happening at the park, and part of the trail was blocked off that they wanted to walk on. As they approached, security let them through (again, Britt thought this was weird but wasn't picking up on anything yet). As they were walking along the trail Justin wanted to turn around. By now, Britt was totally confused and kept asking, "Why are you being so weird?" At that moment, Justin got down on one knee and said "This is why I'm being so weird. Will you marry me?" After being totally surprised, Brittney said YES!
