We like to say we met at exactly the right time—because somehow, before that, we had never crossed paths. Looking back, we truly believe God kept us apart until the timing was just right. We met at work, and at first… I was convinced he didn’t like me (I was wrong). Between long days and lots of laughs, we quickly became best friends—and if we’re honest, we both kind of knew early on this was something special. In what feels like a short time, we’ve been through a lot together—growing, learning, and building a life side by side. Somewhere along the way, we realized our perfect place looks the same: sunshine, salt air, and being near the water. So when we found our home on Galveston Bay, it just felt right. He always said that’s where he’d propose—and of course, he did, keeping it simple and just between us. These days, life is full in the best way with our two pups, Goose and Burrow. We’ve been so blessed to be surrounded by amazing family and friends who’ve supported us every step of the way. We’re simple, easygoing people who are a little sun obsessed, love the water, and love being together—so getting married on the island, with our favorite people by our side, feels exactly like us… right at home.
