We're getting married!

Jc first set eyes on Brittney sometime earlier on at Mellow Mushroom but never had the courage to come up and say hello! One night Jc was out at Sandbar with a couple of his friends and guess who was there, thats right Brittney! Jc had a little bit of "liquid courage" this time and decided to go up to Brittney and finally say hello. Good thing he did because after they hit it off that night they haven't been separated since!

It was a gorgeous summer day on 7/14/17 in Malibu, California. To Brittney it was just a normal day on their mini Cali get away, but what she didn't know was this day was planned out almost 6 months in the making. JC had been working sneakily in the background for months putting together this day to remember, during those few months, looking back, Brittney now realized why JC was so extremely protective of his phone lol. In the background JC got together one of his lifelong friends Sam, who happens to be an amazing musician along with a great photographer and had them scope out the perfect location... El Matador beach. With its stunning cliffs and natural rock formations right in the water on the beach, the stage was set. Everyone was there right at sunset, JC played it off telling Brittney that he had wanted to visit this beach for years, as they walked down the cascading cliff steps on through a narrow corridor of rock, rose petals covered the sand as a sweet sound of music coming from an acoustic guitar was playing just around the rock corridor, Brittney turned her head to see Sam, JC's friend playing those sweet melodies of Ed Sheeran's Thinking out loud. She turned back swiftly gasping at JC in surprise that Sam was coincidently at the same location... until she saw the photographer pointing a camera right at her and at that moment her stomach dropped. As she turned back JC grabbed her hands and began telling her that they were not simply here for a mini vacation or just to see the sunset... he brought her to this beach to ask her, the woman of his dreams to spend the rest of eternity with her, the love of his life for over the past 5 years, a love that grew them together through trial and through victory, a fire that they have kindled in their hearts together that will never be put out. And on that day Brittney said YES!
