Airports

Guests flying in to town have several airport options. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is the largest airport in the area and is located approximately 5 miles from the venue. Other nearby airports include Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA), located approximately 30 miles from the venue, and Scottsdale Airport (SCF), located approximately 13 miles from the venue. All of these airports offer transportation options such as taxis, ride-sharing services, rental cars, and airport shuttles to help guests reach their destination.

Areas to Stay

There are several areas that offer convenient access to the venue. Here are some of our recommendations: Tempe: This vibrant college town we call home is located just a few miles south of the Desert Botanical Garden, and offers a variety of accommodation options to suit any budget. You'll be just a few minutes' drive away from the garden, as well as attractions such as the Phoenix Zoo and the Papago Park hiking trails. Scottsdale: Located just a few miles northeast of the Desert Botanical Garden, Scottsdale offers a variety of accommodation options, from luxury resorts to budget-friendly hotels. It's an easy trip to the garden, as well as other attractions such as Old Town Scottsdale and the McDowell Mountain Sonoran Preserve. Arcadia: Northwest of the Desert Botanical Garden, Arcadia is a charming residential neighborhood with plenty of vacation rental options. Not far is downtown Phoenix and the Camelback Mountain hiking trails, as well as a bunch of great stores and restaurants in the area. Downtown Phoenix: If you prefer to stay in the heart of the city, downtown Phoenix offers a variety of hotels and vacation rentals. A few miles away from the garden, it's a good base to explore the city as well as other nearby attractions such as the Phoenix Art Museum and the Heard Museum.

Getting Around

There are several transportation options available to help you get around the city: Ride-Sharing: Popular ride-sharing apps such as Uber and Lyft are widely available in Phoenix, and can be a convenient and affordable option for getting around the city. Also available in many areas are shared scooter and bike services like Bird and Lime. Light Rail: Phoenix's light rail system, run by Valley Metro, runs from north to south through the city, with stops at popular attractions such as the Phoenix Art Museum and Arizona State University. It's a great way to avoid traffic and parking hassles. Rental Car: Renting a car is a popular option for visitors to Phoenix, as it allows you to explore the city at your own pace. There are several rental car companies located at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and many hotels also offer on-site car rental services. Getting around Phoenix is generally easy and convenient, with well-maintained roads and clear signage. Just be aware that traffic can be heavy during rush hour, so plan accordingly.
