We took away the hassle of having to mail in your RSVP. Simply scan the QR code on your invitation or click the RSVP tab on our website to complete your reservation online.
Short answer is no. We wish we had unlimited funds to support this! Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope. Same goes for children under the age of 18 (unless specified on your invite). When you go to RSVP, you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for. We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends.
This dress code is slightly less formal than a black-tie wedding. So, a tuxedo isn't required, but can still be worn if preferred. A formal dark suit is acceptable. For women, a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress (can be above the ankle), or a dressy pantsuit are all acceptable.
This is a great question and apparently something I don't even know. I think we meant somewhere between COCKTAIL and SMART CASUAL. Cocktail means men don't need to worry about a tuxedo; a tailored suit or dress pants with a sport coat (with or without a tie) is perfect. Women can wear a short dress or elegant separates—as long as they're still dressy. This is an ideal occasion to break out a little black dress. Smart Casual means wedding guests are being asked to dress neatly, without being overly dressy – or overly casual. For men, dark denim, chinos or suit paints with a neat shirt is appropriate while women can wear a dress, skirt or pants with a nice blouse or sweater. Pick your poison. Choose your own path. We just want to see you all!
Michigan can experience all four seasons in one day, especially in Spring. March is the start of spring, so temperatures are starting to warm up, but there's always a chance of snow. For our Aussies, wondering how to pack for the visit, we suggest jeans and a medium weight coat to be safe. The wedding itself will be inside so formal attire will be just fine.
