Question

Will I be able to bring a plus one?

Answer

All single guests will be allowed to bring a plus one if they would like to. Please indicate on your RSVP or let the couple know if you plan on bringing someone.

Will children be allowed to attend?

Answer

As the wedding and reception are taking place in a historic hotel, we ask that there are no children attending unless indicated on the invitation (pre-approved by the couple). If you would like to bring your children with you, please check with the bride or groom.

Will there be any alcohol?

Answer

We are having an alcohol-free wedding. We ask that you do not try and bring any into the venue as there will be an added fee. If you would like to have a drink, feel free to grab one at the hotel bar (finish it there please) or any of the bars close to the venue after the reception.

Is the venue outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place outside in a covered courtyard and the reception will be taking place in one of the many event rooms located in the hotel.

Where can I stay?

Answer

As the venue is located at a hotel, rooms are available for a potentially reduced price. Please indicate if a hotel room will be needed as we need to let the hotel know how many rooms to block off and for how long. If you would like to stay elsewhere, please feel free to research some of the local hotels or reach out to the bride or groom and we can give you some suggestions.

Will there be any vegetarian options?

Answer

Yes. For appetizers, there will be a vegetarian option. As for dinner, it is buffet style with someone serving, so when you approach the table, just simply say “no meat please”.

Is there parking available?

Answer

The hotel has both handicap parking available, as well as general parking in a parking structure. No valet parking however.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The bride and groom ask that you dress comfortable, but in the style of a summer garden party. Disneybounding (matching your clothing/accessory color scheme to that of a Disney, Marvel, or Star Wars character) is encouraged, but not mandatory. Shorts are allowed, as it is summer, but please make sure that they're not basketball shorts.

Will photos be allowed?

Answer

We ask that there is no photography during the ceremony, but feel free to take pictures during the reception. We will have a photobooth there to add some flair to your photos as well as a QR code you can scan to upload your photos to a downloadable app for everyone to see. If you choose to post any on social media, please tag us so that we can see them.
