Flight

DFW direct to Monterey (American Airlines)

For our guests flying in from Dallas: American Airlines offers one non-stop flight from DFW to Monterey and one non-stop return flight per day (flight 4173). The plane isn't big, so book as soon as you can. Alternatively, fly from from DFW or Love Field to San Francisco and take the scenic route described below!

SeaTac to SFO or Santa Cruz

For our guests flying in from Seattle: If you are looking for a direct flight, we recommend flying from SeaTac to either San Fransisco or Santa Cruz and taking the scenic route described below! There are also lots of flight options into Monterey, if you don't mind a layover.

Travel Note

Take the Scenic Route!

The central coast of California has some of the most beautiful coastline in the world. For all our guests (and the non-Californians in particular!) we recommend driving in to Carmel/Big Sur on Highway 1. If you are flying, fly into San Fransisco, rent a car, and take Highway 1 South. If you're coming up from SD/OC/LA don't be afraid to take Highway 1 all the way! We promise the views are worth it.
