FAQs

Question

Where Should I Stay?

Answer

The bridal party and immediate family are staying in an airbnb about 1 hour and 45 minutes away from Pretty Place Chapel. If you would like to stay near them, we've included links to nearby properties under the travel tab. If you would prefer to be closer to the venue, there are several hotels nearby, and we'll provide links to those as well. We hope this helps make your planning easier, and if you have any questions or need recommendations, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Question

Will The Wedding Take Place Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors. Pretty Place Chapel is an open-air chapel, it has a roof overhead but no walls, so you'll get to enjoy the beautiful mountain views and fresh air throughout the celebration.

Question

What Is The Dress Code For The Wedding?

Answer

We encourage our guests to embrace a bright and joyful look-think colorful garden party attire! For the ladies, this means floral prints, vibrant colors, and flowy dresses, and we kindly ask that you avoid wearing white, ivory, or cream. For the gentleman, we simply ask that you skip the jeans. Khakis, chinos, or dress pants paired with a button up shirt or a nice polo are perfect. The average temperature in August around 9:30am is typically between 70 and 80, so please dress comfortably for the warm and pleasant morning weather.

Question

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

We know how special it is to celebrate with family, and while we'd love to include everyone, we aren't able to invite all children. Only the kids listed on your RSVP, whether little ones or older children are able to attend. Please check your invitation for their names, and know we truly appreciate your understanding.

Question

What Time Should I Arrive To The Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 9:30am. We kindly ask that you arrive no earlier than 9:00am and no later than 9:30am. Guests who arrive after 9:30am will be asked to wait outside the venue until the ceremony concludes. This helps ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
