Things To Do

O.H.S.O. Eatery & nano-Brewery

O.H.S.O. Eatery & nano-Brewery

4900 East Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018
, (602) 955-0358

I used to work here for 3 years! Most dog friendly patio in AZ! Be sure to sit in the Back patio to get a good view of Camelback mountain! Try the AZ burger and get a taster board of beer! They have amazing brunch too Saturday and Sunday! We may be joining you if you go! I brought Kirk here twice in one week!

Tortilla Flat Saloon

Tortilla Flat Saloon

1 Main Street, Tortilla Flat, AZ 85190
, (480) 984-1776

This a beautiful drive to get to this little cowboy town in Tortilla Flat. I recommend sitting at the bar if you have a few people with you. There are funny seats and you can sit on a saddle! There is money everywhere… literally.

Goldfield Ghost Town and Mine Tours Inc.

Goldfield Ghost Town and Mine Tours Inc.

4650 North Mammoth Mine Road, Apache Junction, AZ 85119
, (480) 983-0333

Little old mining town! This is on your way to the bar in tortilla flat, but I would take the drive first and on your way back stop by the town and have a drink or lunch at the saloon! If you feel adventurous they have a place that you can take old saloon pics like ours. There is one that’s run down…so the right one is in the front close to the jail!

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

Scottsdale, AZ 85254
, (480) 664-3133

My favorite breakfast place! They have a pancake of the day and their Benedict is out of this world! I get the Benny Duo because you can get two different kinds of bennys! They have a full bar if you would like mimosas or a bloody! (Side note: there are a lot of locations all over AZ so if there is one closer to you just go there!)

Cornish Pasty Co

Cornish Pasty Co

3800 North Goldwater Boulevard, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
, (480) 945-1220

This picture doesn’t do it justice! You betcha these pasty’s are better than the U.P.! Few locations but the Scottsdale one was my watering hole when I lived there. Each location has a different vibe.

Pemberton PHX

Pemberton PHX

1121 North 2nd Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004

New little area full of campers/trucks full of vintage clothes, beer, drinks, food and more! Fun to just walk around!

Old Town Scottsdale

Old Town Scottsdale

Scottsdale, AZ 85251

There is a little cowboy town down the way from the Scottsdale mall, you will see big sculptures of cowboys and such. Cornish pasty is close by. So walk around and have lunch at Cornish, or pick from all the wonderful places there to eat!

Casey Moore's Oyster House

Casey Moore's Oyster House

850 South Ash Avenue, Tempe, AZ 85281
, (480) 968-9935

Don’t let oysters scare you! They have a wide variety of bar food on their menu! This used to be my watering hole when I lived in Tempe. It’s an old house…people say it’s haunted. But the patio is huge and recommend sitting outside at a table or the bar outside! They write all their orders by hand (no p.o.s) so be patient. Yes you can still use a card! Lol

Superstition Mountains

Superstition Mountains

Superstition Mountains, AZ 85119

Favorite mountain that’s not too far from Phoenix! So many hikes! If you need a recommendation reach out to Britteny! Or if you have the AllTrails app (recommend downloading) that can tell you the distance and type of hike!

For all the days along the way
