When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Invitations will be sent out in October 2024, we respectfully request you RSVP by November-December

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Cocktail hour will be from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, ceremony starts at 6:30, so be there before then!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block, link to the site is listed on our website. Please tell them you are a part of the Dollard/Chalfin Wedding Block.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Generally in High Springs on a January day, it’s between the 60s-70s, especially after the sun goes down it’s closer to lower 60s

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire will be semi-formal or dressy casual. It’s in the open air, it might be chilly, so expect to bring a nice warm coat!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a big field within walking distance of the reception with plenty of room for everyone.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No transportation will be provided, but the hotel is 11 miles, or 16 minutes away from the venue. If you so wish, there are options amongst Uber and Lyft!

Will there be a transfer to the reception?

Answer

The cocktail hour, ceremony, and reception will all be held on the same grounds.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless specified on the save the date or invitation, as much as we wish we could have everyone, unfortunately no.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love to watch the children laugh and play, this is going to be an adults-only kind of day.

What time should I go home?

Answer

We are fortunate enough to have a wedding where there are no time limits! Everyone is welcome to stay as long as they like, Anyone is welcome leave whenever they please! But the bride and groom will be staying up all night to party and enjoy being happy!!

Where should I sit for the Ceremony?

Choose a seat, not a side. We’re all family once the knot is tied!

Where should I sit at the Reception?

Answer

There will be assigned seating, you will be able to find your name and table number upon enter reception area.

Can I take photos during the Ceremony?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony.

Can I take pictures during the Reception?

Answer

There will be disposable cameras on each table, feel free to take as many pictures as you like! The bride and groom are thrilled to see the experience of their friends and family through their own eyes! There will be a basket you can put the full cameras in at the end of the night! Pictures will be shared as soon as the are developed!
